Today, most of us are off from work because of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Please take this time to think about the freedoms we have in America as well as the ones we don’t. Look at the voting act in your state and see how free you really are. Are restrictions being inflicted on Americans in your state? Stand up for what is right like Martin Luther King Jr. did.
Our right to vote is being threatened in the name of protection from voter fraud but there is really no substantial evidence to indicate that voter fraud exists anywhere in our nation. The right to vote is fundamental to the democratic process. We should protect this right at all costs. The United States serves as a standard and a guideline for other nations seeking to embrace democracy.
